Can MedPost treat my illness/injury or do I need to visit the ER?

MedPost can treat most non life-threatening illnesses or injuries. For a comprehensive list of medical conditions that our urgent care centers can treat, please view our services page. If you are experiencing an emergency or a life-threatening illness, please call 911 or visit your local emergency room.

What types of insurances does MedPost accept?

We accept most major insurance plans at our urgent care clinics. If you have questions about coverage, your co-pay or deductible, please call your insurance provider. Their phone number will be on your insurance card. If you are unable to reach your insurance provider, please call your nearest MedPost location and we can confirm if we are in network with your insurance provider. Your insurance provider, however, will be your best resource, in determining your co-pay and current deductible status.

If you have a high deductible plan, you may receive a bill from MedPost after your visit –– even if you paid a co-pay at the time of your visit –– if your deductible has not been met. If you have questions or concerns about your deductible, please contact your insurance provider.

While we accept most insurance plans, MedPost patients are welcome to pay for services in full by cash or credit card.

What are the hours of operation for MedPost?

All of our MedPost locations are open seven days a week and offer extended hours on weeknights and weekends. Please find your nearest MedPost location to determine the exact hours of operation.

How long will I have to wait to see a provider at MedPost?

We make it our goal to have our patients diagnosed and treated within one hour. However, wait times will vary depending on the severity of conditions and demand for services.

Is an appointment required to see a physician at MedPost?

An appointment is not necessary to visit MedPost Urgent Care. We always accept walk-in patients, and you can also check in online ahead of time to save your spot in line.

What should I bring with me when I visit MedPost?

Please bring the following items with you when you visit MedPost to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process:

  • Proof of insurance
  • Proof of guardianship (if you are accompanying a patient who is under 18 years old)
  • Photo identification, such as a passport, driver’s license or student identification card
  • Medical history information
  • A list of your allergies
  • A list of your current prescriptions and any medications you are on
How can I provide feedback regarding my MedPost visit?

We offer patients the option to fill out an online survey that allows them to rate their MedPost experience.

What medical conditions does MedPost treat?

Our urgent care clinics offer treatment for common illnesses such as cold and flu, in addition to more in-depth conditions such as sprains and broken bones –– there is an X-ray on-site at every location. MedPost also offers school, sports, camp and pre-employment physical exams, flu shots and some vaccines. Visit our services page for a complete list of illnesses and injuries we treat, and please call ahead to your nearest location to confirm we will be able to address your medical need.

Can MedPost treat my infant?

MedPost Urgent Care locations treat patients of all ages based upon medical appropriateness. Patients requiring advanced care will be referred to the appropriate facility or specialist. Please call ahead to discuss your medical concern with the medical team on shift at your nearest location if your child is under two years of age.

Our El Paso MedPost Kids facilitiesy are is staffed with specialty-trained pediatricians and provides expert care for children up to 18 years of age.

Who will be treating me at MedPost?

Based on your particular medical needs, you may be seen by a physician assistant, advanced practice registered nurse, doctor of osteopathy or an MD. Our physicians are trained in family medicine and/or emergency medicine.
